Privacy Policy

The short version

You can use Morning Reward without an account. We don't sell your data, and we never ask for your game login. The site is paid for by advertising from Google AdSense, which uses cookies as described below. We collect basic analytics to see how the site is used, and we keep what you choose to give us: an account if you make one, comments you post, and messages you send us.

What we collect

When you visit. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read, how long people stay, what kind of device and browser they use, and roughly where they are (country or region, never an exact location). Our server and our security provider, Cloudflare, also keep standard technical logs of each request, including your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.

If you create an account. Accounts are optional. If you sign up, we store your name, your email address and your password. Your password is stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we can't read it.

If you post a comment. Comments are public. We store what you write and show it next to your account name on the page.

If you contact us. When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, the topic, the game you mention and your message, plus your IP address and browser type so we can stop spam. If you email us instead, we have whatever you put in the email.

What we don't collect

• Your game username, password, or any in-game login
• Payment details (nothing on the site is paid)
• Your precise location
• Anything about your in-game activity or balance

How we use it

• Analytics shows us which games and pages people find useful, and where the site is slow or unclear.
• Your account lets you sign in and post comments.
• Contact messages are used to reply to you and to fix whatever you reported.
• Technical logs and IP addresses are used for security, spam protection and fixing errors.

We don't use your account, comments or messages for advertising, and we don't sell or rent any of it to anyone.

Who else handles it

• Google Analytics processes visit data under Google's own privacy policy.
• Google AdSense serves the ads on the site. See "Advertising" below.
• Cloudflare sits in front of the site to speed it up and block attacks, so your requests pass through it.
• Our hosting provider runs the server where the site and its database live.

Reward links on Morning Reward take you to the games' own pages. Once you leave our site, that game's privacy policy applies.

Advertising

Morning Reward uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses data from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message from Google's consent tool, and advertising and analytics cookies stay off until they choose. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that appears at the bottom of the page.

How long we keep it

• Server logs are deleted automatically after about 14 days.
• Account details and comments are kept until you ask us to delete them.
• Contact messages are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable time after, in case you write again.
• Google Analytics data is kept according to Google's settings for our account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. To do any of that, including deleting your account and comments, email us from the address on your account and we will sort it out.

Children

Morning Reward is for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from under-18s. If you think a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
