Worth knowing before you tap one, because the route explains most of the failures. A Family Farm gift link points at ff.centurygame.com, which is Century Games' own short domain. It passes you through to farm.centurygames.com, the browser client, with a reference attached that tells the game which reward you arrived for.

That landing page asks you to log in with Facebook. On the ordinary version of the site there is a Google sign-in button next to it, but arriving from a gift link the Google option is deliberately hidden. If your farm lives on a Google sign-in, a gift link has nowhere to put the Ranch Cash.

   Use the Facebook login on that page, on the account your farm belongs to.

   Let the farm load and check the Ranch Cash counter at the top of the screen.

   If the counter has not moved, reload the farm once. The balance updates when the client reconnects.

Century Games gives no schedule for this game, so the only honest answer is what has actually arrived. Over the last two months this page has taken in between two and eight links in a week, most weeks landing in the middle of that, with quiet stretches of three or four days in between.

That irregularity is the reason to check a list rather than a feed. There is no posting time to be at, and the studio does not send a notification when a link goes up.

Nobody outside Century Games knows, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The links carry no amount anywhere in them, the studio has never published a figure for this game, and there is no store listing for it to quote.

So if you find a page showing you a tidy table of Family Farm links at 1 RC, 3 RC and 5 RC, those numbers were invented, usually by borrowing what Family Farm Seaside pays for something else entirely. What is knowable is how many links are live and when each one was found, which is what the cards above show.

• Level-ups: The steadiest reported source. Orders and missions are what move the bar, so keep crops, animals and machines all working.
• The achievements trophy: At the bottom of the interface. Plenty of its milestones are things you did while learning the game and are sitting there uncollected.
• Facebook giveaways: Century Games runs Ranch Cash giveaways on its Family Farm pages around events. No schedule, so no schedule is what we will tell you.

You will find lists of them. They are for a different game. Family Farm Seaside, the phone version, has a genuine Gift Code button in its settings and Century Games has published codes for it. This game has no documented code screen at all.
