Hero Wars free gifts for Dominion Era come from one Facebook post on most days, at 08:00 UTC. Across four months we counted 84 gift links on 83 days, most paying 500 Energy, and every post says when its link stops working, usually three to five days out.
So the newest link here is the one to claim first, and anything past its date is gone. Mobile Alliance codes are a separate system and will not work in this version.
Nexters posts one gift link on most days on the official Hero Wars: Dominion Era Facebook page, at 08:00 UTC. Most pay 500 Energy, and each post states its own end date.
Newest link added 21 hours ago · 3 links in the last three days · 4 in the last seven
Kept here for reference. Some still credit, many will not.

We went back through the official Hero Wars: Dominion Era Facebook page from 1 June to 7 October 2026, opened every link in every post, and noted which ones paid a gift and when each said it would stop.
The practical upshot: look once a day after 08:00 UTC and claim straight away. Most links last several days, but a few close quickly, and a link only counts once per account.
Hero Wars gives away more, and more usefully, than most games we cover. The links on this page are one route, but the promo code system is the bigger prize here, and it is worth understanding properly.
One warning before anything else, because it explains most failed claims: there are two versions of this game, and they do not share codes. Hero Wars: Dominion Era is the browser and Facebook version. Hero Wars: Alliance is the mobile app. A code issued for Alliance will not work in Dominion Era and vice versa.
Energy deserves a special mention because it is the thing that limits your day. It regenerates at one point every six minutes, up to a cap commonly cited at 240. If you only open the game once a day you are hitting that cap and losing regeneration. Logging in twice, morning and evening, is worth more than any single gift link on this page.
Make sure the code is for Dominion Era: This is the browser and Facebook version. Alliance codes are separate and will simply be rejected here.
Open the game and click your profile avatar: Top-left corner of the screen.
Go to Settings, then Promo Code: That is where the entry field lives.
Type or paste the code exactly: Codes are case-sensitive, and a trailing space is enough to break one.
Activate it, then open your in-game mail: Rewards arrive in mail rather than dropping straight into your balance, which is why people sometimes think a working code did nothing.
On mobile Alliance the path is different again, through the Alliance Hub and its Bonuses section. If you play both, keep the codes separate.
Be logged in to the right version first: Open Dominion Era in your browser or on Facebook and confirm you are signed in to your account.
Open the link on the device you play on: A link opened somewhere you are not logged in has nothing to credit.
Let the redirect finish: These links route through a redirect before landing in the game. Give it a moment.
Check your mail as well as your balance: As with codes, some rewards arrive in the in-game mailbox rather than appearing immediately in your totals.
If a link does nothing, it has passed the end date printed on its post or has already been claimed on your account.
Yes, and faster than in most games. Codes tied to a livestream or a limited event can be valid for as little as 24 hours. Others run for a few weeks. Some carry a stated deadline, and some do not.
The practical rule is to assume any code you find posted publicly is dead unless it carries a deadline that has not passed yet. Long lists of Hero Wars codes on aggregator sites are mostly expired, and trying them costs you nothing but time.
Gift links are easier: every gift post prints its end date, usually three to five days out. Each is single-use on your account. Once claimed, it is spent for you.
There are only a handful of reasons, and one of them accounts for most cases.
If the code is valid and accepted but you cannot see the reward, check your in-game mail. Hero Wars delivers code rewards to the mailbox rather than crediting them directly, which trips up a lot of players.
We do not publish Hero Wars codes we cannot trace to an official source, and we do not pad the list with expired ones to make it look fuller. Given how fast these expire, a long list would be mostly dead.
There is no Hero Wars emerald or gold generator, and we do not link to sites claiming otherwise. Your account lives on Nexters' servers. Sites offering free emeralds want your login, an ad impression, or a completed survey.
We also will not point you at private servers or modified clients. They are the fastest way to lose an account you have put months into.
Almost always because it was issued for the other version. Hero Wars: Dominion Era is the browser and Facebook game; Hero Wars: Alliance is the mobile app, and their codes are not interchangeable. Beyond that, check whether it has expired, whether you have already used it, and whether it is restricted to new accounts.
Open the game, click your profile avatar in the top-left corner, go to Settings, then the Promo Code field. Enter the code exactly as posted, since they are case-sensitive, and activate it. Rewards arrive in your in-game mail rather than landing directly in your balance.
Daily quests and achievements are the steadiest source and the one most players underuse. On top of that, daily login rewards pay emeralds, Arena rankings pay them daily to top players, Tower completion pays them, and most seasonal events have a free track that includes them. Promo codes are worth between 100 and 1,100 emeralds when they land.
Energy regenerates at one point every six minutes, up to a cap commonly cited at 240, and campaign missions cost energy to run. If you only log in once a day you will hit the cap and waste hours of regeneration. Two logins a day, morning and evening, is the routine experienced players recommend.
Yes, on a date Nexters prints in each post, always at 2 AM UTC. Most of the 72 we read gave three to five days, and each link is single-use on your account. Promo codes vary more: some tied to livestreams last about a day, others a few weeks.
At the top of Arena and Guild Wars, many players say yes, and some modes and daily limits are gated behind VIP levels that rise with spending. In 2025, 88 percent of the game's bookings came from around 125,000 high-spending players. Played casually, without chasing competitive rankings, it remains perfectly enjoyable without paying.
Hero Wars rewards two things: catching codes while they are still alive, and logging in twice a day so your energy never sits at the cap. Check here for what is live, then get your daily quests done. Those quests are the most reliable emerald income in the game and they do not expire on you.
