How Bingo Blitz Became the Biggest Bingo Game in the World

Bingo Blitz makes about $162 million every three months. That is real money, from a free bingo game on your phone. It started back in 2010 as a small app on Facebook, and today it is the biggest bingo game in the world.
Here is the whole story, and then something nobody else can tell you: what our own tracker sees it giving away right now, next to every other bingo game we watch.
Where it started
Bingo Blitz was made by a small studio near Los Angeles called Buffalo Studios. It launched in 2010, as one of the very first bingo games you could play on Facebook. It was free, it never made you spend real money, and it caught on quickly with people who liked bingo but did not live near a bingo hall. By 2011, more than a million people were playing it every month, and it was the top bingo game on Facebook.
The casino company that bought it
At the end of 2012, a real casino company bought it. Caesars, the big Las Vegas name, had a side that was buying up games you play on your phone. In December 2012 it bought Buffalo Studios and Bingo Blitz, and put the team under Playtika, the same company that makes Slotomania. So Bingo Blitz and Slotomania became family, made by the same company.
A few years later, in 2016, a group of investors from China bought Playtika from Caesars for $4.4 billion. Bingo Blitz went with it, and it is still a Playtika game today.
The whole story, in one table
How big it got
Bingo Blitz is now the largest bingo game in the world on phones. That is not us being generous with words: it is what Playtika tells its own investors, in plain writing, every few months. In the first three months of 2025 the game made about $162 million, the most it had ever made, and it did close to that again later in the year. That adds up to more than half a billion dollars a year, from a bingo app. Along with Slotomania, it is one of the two biggest games the whole company has.
Drew Barrymore and a mascot named Blitzy
Bingo Blitz is not built for hardcore gamers. It is built for everyone, and especially for older players who grew up with real bingo nights. That is why, in 2022, the game hired the actress Drew Barrymore to be the face of it. She turned up in the TV ads, and inside the game itself as her own character called "Drew Bingomore," standing next to the game's little cartoon mascot, Blitzy.
The game is built around travel: you play bingo rooms set in different cities around the world and collect souvenirs as you go. It is a long way from a real bingo hall, but the free daily gifts and the friendly cartoon world are aimed squarely at the same people who used to fill those halls.

So the biggest bingo game by money is also the busiest bingo game by free gifts. The two line up. When a game is winning the whole category, it can afford to keep the free credits flowing, and Bingo Blitz does. Its closest rival in our list, Bingo Drive, is not far behind, but nothing else in bingo comes close to the top two.
