Diggy's Adventure Free Gems August 2026
Diggy's Adventure free gems are hard to pin down, because almost every list you find is the same two dozen codes with expiry dates months in the past. Pixel Federation announces codes on social and never publishes a live list, so there is nothing to check those pages against. Digging through them costs more time than the gems are worth.
So we dig through them for you, and publish none we cannot stand behind. What you get instead is where codes are actually announced, how to redeem one in two menus, and the four in-game sources that pay gems every week without any code at all.
Diggy's Adventure event links
Pixel Federation posts these around event launches rather than daily, so this list is quiet most of the time and often empty. That is the honest state of it. Diggy's Adventure is not a game where links carry the free rewards: the gems come from levelling up, achievements, mines and the Event Pass free row, all of which are covered below and none of which need a post to appear.
Why free rewards in Diggy's Adventure are hard to find
Search for Diggy's Adventure codes or free gems and you hit the same wall every time: lists of two dozen codes with expiry dates months in the past, no source beyond another list, and no way to tell which if any still work. Meanwhile the rewards that do exist are scattered across systems nobody explains together, and the energy gating in the later regions makes finding them matter more, not less.
This page takes the opposite approach. Rather than publishing a code list we cannot stand behind, it sets out where Pixel Federation actually announces codes, how to redeem one, and what the game gives away every single day without any code at all. That last part is where almost all of your gems and energy will come from.
Where gems actually come from
Four sources, in rough order of how much they will give you over a month of normal play.
- Achievements: The best gem source in the game. They pay gems, green rings, XP and coins, and watching an ad doubles all four. Equipment does not double. Hold several and claim them together to trigger a level-up at the same time.
- Level-ups: Each level grants instant energy, and gems appear as level rewards as you climb. There is no published table, so treat it as a steady drip rather than something to plan around.
- Scattered mine gems: Gems are placed inside mines, often behind puzzles or on awkward tiles. Story mines carry them more densely than repeatable farms, and the Last Tile Finder extra shows what you have missed.
- Event Pass free row: Every event runs a free reward track alongside the paid one, and gems sit on it at certain point thresholds. Starting an event on day one is what determines how far up that track you get.
How to redeem a Diggy's Adventure reward code
Codes are redeemed inside the game, not on a website. The screen is easy to miss because it sits two menus deep.
- 1
Open your camp and tap the Settings cogwheel.
- 2
Tap Community.
- 3
Select Reward Code.
- 4
Enter the code exactly as published. They are case-sensitive.
- 5
Tap Claim Now, and the reward credits immediately.
Each code can be redeemed once per player. If one is rejected it has almost certainly expired or been used on that account already, rather than being mistyped, though the case-sensitivity is worth double-checking before you give up on it.
Are there active Diggy's Adventure codes right now?
We have not verified one, and we would rather say so than publish a list.
Pixel Federation does run a real code system, and it announces codes on Instagram, Facebook and Reddit when it has one. What it does not do is maintain a public list of live codes, which means there is nothing to check a third-party list against. The code lists you will find elsewhere are largely copies of each other, carrying strings whose stated expiry dates are months in the past.
The practical advice: follow @diggysadventure on Instagram and the official Facebook page, and redeem a code the day you see it announced. A Diggy's code is worth most on day one and usually worthless by the end of the week.
Daily and weekly free currency loops
None of these need a code or a post. They are the reason a no-spend player can keep progressing indefinitely, and skipping them is where most players quietly lose the most value.
Every day
- Daily login reward: A multi-day cycle paying energy, materials, XP and coins, with larger milestone chests along the way. Check the in-game screen for where you are in the cycle.
- Lucky Cards Tent: Three draws per 8-hour cycle in exchange for watching ads, so nine rewards a day if you catch all three windows. Energy, materials, XP and coins.
- Daily Extra Energy: Up to three more ad-watches once your energy bar is empty. The amount scales with your level and region, so it is worth more the deeper you are.
- Pixel Shop: Free daily energy resetting at 0:00 UTC and Pixel Coins on a 22-hour refresh, for anyone with a Pixel ID.
- Neighbour visits: Collect god children in neighbours' camps on a 22-hour timer. The energy you take costs the neighbour nothing.
Every week
- Event rotation: Roughly a four-week cycle: new event, free re-release, regional update, special week. The free Event Pass row runs throughout.
- Special weeks: Candyland, Builder, Postcard and Red Ring weeks pay equipment, materials and the green and red rings used to multiply rewards.
- Puzzle Tower and Nonogram: Periodic multi-floor runs and a weekend puzzle activity, both with their own reward tracks.
Best free energy strategies (no spend)
Energy is what actually gates this game, so saving it is worth as much as earning it.
- Rush your mines: Dig only the tiles a quest requires and leave the rest for a later visit with better equipment. The saving is modest in Egypt and enormous by Mars.
- Balance regeneration against capacity: Favour green Regeneration equipment if you check in often, blue Capacity if you play in long sessions. Recalculate every region.
- Time your Kitchen cooking: Start food so it finishes as your bar empties, rather than leaving a finished meal sitting unused.
- Send caravans during doubling weeks: Double Production Week is the best return the Caravan Outpost offers all month.
- Place pillars at level 100+: Convert surplus materials into XP, and cash the level-up when you want the energy.
- Hold achievement claims: Claim them when you need the XP, and always take the doubling ad.
What we will not list
This page is short on links by design, and that is worth explaining rather than hiding.
- No unverified codes: We have never observed a Diggy's code in an official post, so we publish none. The lists elsewhere are copies of each other with expiry dates long past.
- No links that are not rewards: Pixel Federation's short domain also carries the Pixel Shop, the portal login and forum threads. An official link is not automatically a gem drop, and we do not list the ones that are not.
- No generators or mod APKs: There is no working gem generator or energy hack. Every site offering one is running an ad funnel or worse, and a modded build risks an account you may have had for years.
- No padding when it is quiet: This game posts around events. A Diggy's rewards page that is always full is not doing better than us, it is listing things that are not rewards.
Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
- Ad-blockers: They silently break the Lucky Cards Tent, Daily Extra Energy and the achievement-doubling ad. Nothing errors, the reward just never arrives.
- Guest accounts: If you play as a guest, write down your Player ID. Without it, a lost device can mean a lost account, and support has little to work with.
- Mobile-only play: The app has no neighbours, no windmills and no god children. Connect Facebook and open the browser version to get the social energy.
- Chasing expired codes: Working through a published list is time you could have spent on three Lucky Cards draws, which will definitely pay something.
FAQ
1) Do Diggy's Adventure codes expire?
Yes, and quickly. Most are live for days rather than weeks, and each works once per account. Pixel Federation does not publish a list of active codes, so the reliable approach is to follow the official Instagram and Facebook accounts and redeem a code the day it is announced rather than working through a third-party list.
2) What is the best free way to get energy without spending?
Stack the daily loops: the login reward, three Lucky Cards Tent draws every 8 hours, up to three Daily Extra Energy ads when your bar is empty, the Pixel Shop daily, and god children from neighbours' camps every 22 hours. Then reduce what you spend by rushing mines and balancing your camp equipment correctly.
3) Can I get Event Pass rewards for free?
Yes. Every Event Pass has a free row alongside the paid premium row, paying energy, coins, XP, materials, food and occasional gems. You do not need to pay to take part or to earn free row rewards. Starting an event on day one is what determines how far up that track you reach.
4) Why is a Pixel Federation link not giving me anything?
Because it may not be a reward link. The same short domain carries the Pixel Shop, the portal login page and forum threads alongside genuine event links, so plenty of official Diggy's links are announcements rather than drops. Event links are also tied to their event window, so one from a finished event will open without paying anything.
5) Where do I enter a Diggy's Adventure code?
In the game, not on a website. Tap the Settings cogwheel in your camp, tap Community, then Reward Code, enter the code exactly as published since they are case-sensitive, and tap Claim Now.
Keep this page handy
Diggy's Adventure is the rare game where the honest advice is to stop watching for posts. Claim your achievements with the doubling ad, run the daily loops, rush your mines, and start each event on day one. Check back here when a code is announced or an event link goes up, but the gems were never really on this page: they were always in the camp.
