Promos you claim from a link
- Facebook page posts: Each post carries its own link. Instagram and TikTok keep theirs in the profile link instead.
- Promotional emails: Sent from email@e1.ddc-emails.com. About 31% of the promos in our records came this way.
- Mobile notifications: Tap the notification itself to claim. About 12% of promos.
- Penny on Messenger: Daily chips if you opt in and tap a reply each day. About 7% of promos.
- YouTube: A link in a new video's description, valid for a limited time.
Bonuses you collect inside the game
- Daily Wheel: One free spin a day, resetting at 12:00 AM Pacific time.
- Time Bonus: Builds up every hour and stacks three times, or four with a Booster.
- Friend gifts: Up to 3 a day from Facebook friends who play, more at higher Diamond Club tiers.
- Level-ups: Every bet earns experience, and each new level pays bonus chips.
- Fun Mode: A top-up to 1,000 chips and fixed 500-chip spins when you fall below 10,000 chips.
What the Promos Are Actually Worth
We counted every DoubleDown promo we listed from 29 May to 3 October 2026: 1,996 promos over 128 days, with at least 11 every single day.
- About 16 promos a day: The busiest day had 25. Fridays averaged the most, at 17.2.
- About 3.9 million chips a day: The total offered by a typical day's chip promos. The range was 2.8 million to 7.0 million.
- Most are 250,000 to 300,000 chips: 94% fell between 200,000 and 300,000. Only 4 promos in the whole period offered 1 million.
Treat 3.9 million as a ceiling. You will miss some promos unless you have email, notifications and Messenger switched on, and some are limited to certain accounts. The full breakdown is on our DoubleDown Casino overview.
A Two-Visit Daily Routine
This routine is built around three fixed rules: the Daily Wheel resets at midnight Pacific, the Time Bonus stops growing after three stacks (about three hours), and you can claim at most 12 free chip offers in any three hours.
A third visit in the evening picks up the Time Bonus once more and any late promos, but two visits catch most of the day.
First visit (morning)

The Time Bonus, Explained
The Time Bonus adds a stack of free chips every hour. You can collect as often as hourly, or let stacks build and collect them together.
- Three stacks, or four: Without a Booster it stops at 3 stacks, so anything past about three hours is lost. A Booster raises the limit to 4 and makes each stack bigger.
- Where it is: Top right of the lobby on a computer, bottom right on a phone or tablet, with a timer to the next stack.
- Making stacks bigger: Pyramid League, a weekly leaderboard fed by Pyramid Cards that drop at random on eligible slots, adds a multiplier to the Time Bonus. Rankings reset every Monday. It rewards bigger bets, so don't raise yours beyond what your balance can take just to climb it.
Mistakes That Cost Free Chips
Most lost chips come from a handful of avoidable habits:
- Using more than one login: Facebook, Google, Apple, email and guest logins are separate accounts. Chips claimed on one never appear on another.
- Claiming in one long burst: The 13th claim inside three hours fails with "You've reached the limit". Split the day into two rounds.
- Leaving the Time Bonus for a day: It stops at three stacks, so anything past about three hours is lost.
- Skipping a day: The Daily Wheel's Return Bonus grows by 10,000 chips for each day in a row you visit, up to 25 days. A missed day starts it again.
- Paying for the Supreme Wheel by mistake: The offer after your daily spin is a paid spin, not a free one.
