Read This Before You Switch
DoubleDown is clear on this point: guest accounts and Facebook-connected accounts are completely separate. Chips, experience and everything else stay with the account they were earned on, and there is no way to transfer them.
So if you have been playing as a guest for months and then log in with Facebook, you start a different account. You can keep using both, but you cannot combine them. What Facebook Adds
DoubleDown lists these advantages of logging in through Facebook:
- Friend Bonus: Extra chips on your Daily Wheel for each Facebook friend who plays, up to 25 friends.
- Gifts: Send and receive gift spins with friends every day. Guest accounts cannot gift.
- Every version of the game: Facebook accounts work on all of them. Apple, Google and email accounts work on phones and doubledowncasino.com.
- Penny and Facebook notifications: Chip offers through Messenger, and through Facebook notifications on a computer.
How to Log In With Facebook on a Phone

To return to a guest account later, log out again and choose Play as Guest, or Sign in with Apple, Google or Email for those accounts.
What Facebook Shares With the Game
On first launch DoubleDown asks for three Facebook permissions: your public profile (name and picture), your friends list (only friends who also play and accepted the same permission), and your email address, used to send updates and free chips.
Facebook asks you to accept app permissions again every 90 days. If they lapse, the game can show errors and friends can drop out of your Friend Bonus.
Fixing a Broken Facebook Connection
DoubleDown's fixes for the most common problems:
- Permissions errors: In Facebook go to Settings and Privacy, Settings, Apps and Websites, remove DoubleDown Casino, then log in with Facebook in the game again and choose Continue.
- Login stuck on a computer: In September 2026 DoubleDown reported that some ad blockers stop the Facebook login on the website. Turn the blocker off for the page or try another browser.
- Different chips on phone and computer: You are almost certainly on two different accounts. Log in the same way on both.
